    Incredible value

Posted by Clair Sensenig on Aug 12th 2022

I had an opportunity to purchase this crossbow brand new for $280. I have no regrets. It has proven to be incredibly accurate up to 70 yds. I have put several hundred shots through it so far. I added heavier inserts and points as well as lighted nocks to the bolts to get them up to 470 grains. Still shoots fast and accurately. The bottom retical on the scope works out to be a 70 yd. shot. That's about as far as the scope optics are going to be very good for. If you upgrade the scope I expect you could still be very accurate farther out. Very happy with the unit!

    Funny scope

Bought my ripper at bass pro store on 11/27/2021. Sighted it in on 12/05/2021 when took off the caps to adjust the left right and up down when I noticed that it has two up turrets on . Instead of the normal up and one left turrets. But other than that I still got it to shoot the center dot on my target. It's pretty fast. I'm pretty pleased with it so far. If you're going to buy one I suggest that you look for this issue first before getting home with it

    Awesome inexpensive crossbow

Bought a new 425 Ripper and I love this crossbow. Never had a crossbow before but have shot some compound bow. This thing is powerful, fast, light trigger, and just really nice. A little heavy and I did get the 1.5- 5 x 32 lumix scope which is a better scope. DEFINITELY worth the money, I don't plan on replacing this crossbow and will be turkey and deer hunting with it.

    Awesome accuracy

Bought this crossbow after my daughter told me about them. Placed several shots through the same hole at 20 yard sight in. Thought it was a mistake and kept moving further out. Placed several shots through the same hole at 40 yards. Excellent product and I would have to say the quality control is working well. Great job team.

    Ripper 425

Posted by Erik on Mar 21st 2021

Well first off I had great day weather wise and I wanted to put this bow through the ringer. After sighting in with 4 bolts shot and I started pushing out distance. I noticed after 2 shot that my 30mark was also my 40 yrd mark too and so on down the scope line. This ripper has out performed my expectations, this morning I walked out took a 70 yard shot and it was dead on with a 4mph wind. For a bow under the $500 price point to perform like this I was taken back and concreted my confidence in this purchase. I will say now that the rippers counterpart the Speed 425 will perform the exact same if not better that package has the 1.5x5-32 speed ring scope and if its of the same quality or better than the standard 4x32 scope this bow will be even easier to sight in and shoot. The hypr bolts do need some extra though they weigh in at 390 grains with out of box field tip. I put 150grain field tips on making them 440grain. i also got a set of black eagle executioners bolts 443grain and they fly the same if not better out of this bow. Over all totally worth buying bow, only thing I can say though if your gonna be hunting with it you will need try a quiet it down a tad, out the box was little loud but I put string silencers on and put a twist lock limb saver in that front gap were the string side is and that took the sound down big time and knocked want little vibration post shot away. Ill stand behind the ripper 425 just great piece of equipment fun to shoot. If skepticism comes in your mind when you see this online or in store dont think act and buy it and with in days you'll see. Please to the x-bow universe don't not shoot lower grain anything under 415grain bolts regardless of what the box says or the spec sheet tells you will be hurting the bow and opening up the door to hurt yourself, please remember this is tool and a weapon not a toy know whats beyond your target while shooting. Thanks K.I. for quality bow
